City Council Meeting Dec 11

South on Main Street will be on the agenda for the City Council meeting. This meeting may be of interest to residents as plans have changed and the City Council and Mayor are usually present. Per feedback letters found in documentation on the City of Woodstock’s website, South on Main residents were told that this would be a Green Space community with 400 max units and possibly 2 pools. It now appears they are going to be increasing this to a 575 units neighborhood with much less Green Space and 1 pool at most. You can also see where the developer is trying to cut corners on the Green Prints trail they had promised. (Letters referenced were found in the November 30 Planning Commission Meeting agenda packet listed on the City’s website.)  The meeting will begin at 7pm at The Chambers at City Center, 8534 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia 30188.
